The stormy might of the oceans of Mon Calamari was slowly eating away what little was left of the floating city of Tuover-Ram, and apparently eating a chunk of Luke's heart as well. Quite a number of the Rebels in their boat were staring in the same direction, their minds recalling whatever they knew about the first Imperial invasion of the planet. Their imagination, scarred by their own experiences, pictured the bloody massacre that had annihilated the beautiful structure and thousands of lives.
Luke's thoughts, however, were of a different nature. Han was sure of that.
"Think of it this way, junior... This is just like Tatooine. Only the dunes are made of different material."
The blond nodded stiffly, biting his lip. He had seen water in large proportions before: the river near the Yavin base, the lakes at Areupar'ib... But even Han had to admit that Mon Calamari was something else.
He squeezed Luke's shoulder, leaning to whisper in his ear. "Feeling sick?"
"Humbled." Luke turned his head to face him, and Han flinched.
He could feel those blue eyes, as stormy and powerful as the mass of water around them, corroding the ancient walls around his heart.
