Find enclosed this month's supply of Lupi Contra Mentem. For pity's sake, don't break the bottle or allow your canine "friend" to lap it up in a fit of debauched playfulness, or it will be all to do again. The holidays continue well enough, due to the absence of students. Other matters are in hand. Do try to keep what wits you have about you and yours, as we are likely to need any and all strength given us for these coming days. I doubt whether your current lodger has the mental acuity to grasp the simple enough concept, "lie low", but having his packmate there to enforce what authority may be brought to bear, little as it might be, should permit the concept to trickle through even his thick skull. I daresay you are able to shift for yourself, presuming you don't forget to drink this whilst in some daft reverie of the Good Old Days of bloodlust.
