I'm Brazilian and my main reference in building the Clow no Tenshi timeline is the Brazilian dubbed version of the anime, which kept the characters' original names, with a few exceptions (see the table below). There is some flexibility in the rules of transliterating Japanese or Chinese words for western-European alphabet, so I'm adopting the spelling used by the manga in the character profiles, with a few exceptions (yeah, table below).

Differently from the Eien no Hakusho timeline (and differently from the manga profiles too, go figure), in Clow no Tenshi I'm using the Japanese way of ordering the names: family name first, then the "personal" name.
Example: Kinomoto Sakura.

(Why am I not doing the same for both timelines? ahn... No, I don't have a rational explanation for that. Sheer whim, you can call it.)

So here's a table that will hopefully clarify the mess I'm making here. I wish to thank Radha, Teka and Spryte64 fort he help with the Am dub names.

	Daidouji Sonomi	Sonomi Daidouji	Zonomi Daidouji	Samantha Taylor	Not sure if the Br dub put that Z out of euphonic reasons (Sonomi might sound a little like "Seu nome" for us, which means "Her name") or simple mistake.
	Amamiya Masaki	Masaki Amamiya	(Vovô)	----------	The episodes with Sakura's great-grandfather were cut from the Am dub (or so I was told). "Vovô" means "grandpa" in Portuguese. His name was never mentioned in the Br dub.

The Li family	Li Syaoran (Xiao-Lang)	Li Syaoran (Ri Shaoran)	Shoran Li	Li Showron	"Shoran" is simply "Shaoran" spoken very fast. In CnT Xiao-Lang will be used by Chinese speakers. In the Am dub family name becomes first name (but there're references to the "Li clan").
The Li family	Li Meiling	----------	Meiling Li	Meilin Rae	She doesn't appear in the manga at all. In Am dub, Li and Meilin aren't cousins.

Clow & Guardians	Clow Read	Clow Read (Kurou Riido)	Leed Clow	Clow Reed	Personally I prefer Reed over Read, but I'm going with the manga. For the Br dub, I think they simply didn't know what kind of name that was and made their own guess. Japanese doesn't have the L sound, which is often replaced by R.
	Kerberus	Cerberus (Keroberosu)	Kerberus	Keroberos	A bia of mine: Portuguese speakers would tend to read Cerberus with a S sound (Serberus). After singing in ecclesiastic Latin for years, I wanna (erroneously) say "Tcherberus". The K prevents any mix-up.
	Kero-chan	Kero-chan	Kero	Kero	This is not the name of Kerberus's false form, but a nickname given to him by Tomoyo. Only she and Sakura calls him that.
	Yue	Yue (Yue)	Yue	Yue	Yue means "moon" in Chinese.
	Tsukishiro Yukito	Yukito Tsukishiro	Yukito Tsukishiro	Julian Star	"Tsuki" means "moon" in Japanese, you know. Someone tell me where did the Am dub get that "Star" from.

Eriol & Guardians	Hiiragizawa Eriol	Eriol Hiiragizawa (Erioru)	Eriol Jiragizawa	Eli Moon	Moon, stars, darkness... Apparently the Am dub doesn't think that part of the plot is important. And I don't have any idea of what caused the change in the Br dub.
	Spinel Sun	Spinel Sun (Supineru San)	Spinel Sun	Spinner	Spinel is a gem (to match with Ruby).
	Suppi-chan	Suppi-chan (Suppii)	Suppi	Spinny	As in Kerberus/Kero-chan, this is a nickname. Only Nakuru and Kerberus calls him Suppi.

	Akizuki Nakuru	Nakuru Akizuki	Nakuru Akizuki	Ruby	The "zuki" from Akizuki is also written with the kanji for the moon, as in Tsukishiro. Big hint.

Teachers and Classmates	Mizuki Kaho	Kaho Mizuki	Kajo Mizuki	Ms. Layla Mackenzie	Mi-Zuki, another big hint (see above). In Portuguese Kaho's name sounds like "carro" (car). It'd be weird, so I kinda understand the Br dub's option.
	Terada Yoshiyuki	Yoshiyuki Terada	Prof. Terada	Mr. Terata	"Prof." is the abbreviation of "professor", the word we use for all kinds of teachers (including a sports team coach).
