Mukuro's Powers

This was written
to my dear friend Ryoma around May 2000. She was then starting her
fanfic "Black Flame",
and asked me for detailed info regarding Mukuro's powers.

Hey, Ryoma, anytime!
Unfortunately I never found real good pics of Mukuro around, so I'm sending you the best 2 I have. Her normal eye is blue, and her hair is more or less the same color of Kuwabara's.
About her powers, that's a tough one. The anime implies she is a lot more powerful than she shows, so almost every ficwriter feels free to gift her with powers the original story never mentioned. Let's see what she shows.

Some kind of mental power, the one she uses to 'read' Hiei's memories just by touching his body. |

She shoots energy, like a reigan, only it comes from her fists. We can see her doing it in the flashbacks of her ascension to power in Makai, and also in the Makai Tournament, when she fights Hiei. She shoots against him as Hiei, holding the same position (like a mirror), shoots his flames also from his fist. The two energies meet in midway and null each other, but clearly Mukuro is only firing enough ki to match Hiei's flames. |

She punched Hiei on the stomach and that same energy surrounded her fist and went right through his body (that must have hurt ^^;;;) If you saw what Zeru did with Hiei in the first round of the Ankoku Bujutsukai, it's almost the same, only Mukuro had her hand in a fist while Zeru used his fingers. |

She cuts space (irk!). She moves her arm and the space where she pointed is sliced by a white line. The landscape starts looking as if seen on a broken mirror. |

She held Hiei easily in the physical fight (you know, punches, kicks, karate swings, etc). She could move faster and dodge all his strikes. |

I guess she concentrates her power often in her hands. I now remember a comment from Kurama, when Hiei unleashed the Dragon against her. Mukuro took a defense stand, and Kurama said, "It seems she will try to hold it with her hands". She uses hands and feet to keep the Dragon's mouth open, until she manages to tear it in two. |

Well, she heals both Hiei and Shigure, reattaching the former's left arm and the latter's upside of the head in their respective places. I don't know if she did it solely with the machines and medical resources in her fortress, or if she has any healing power. |
Problem is, Mukuro kept only defending herself most of the time, that's why is so hard to describe her capabilities. Hope that helped. Sorry if it took me so long, Real Life forced me to be offline for the last three days, I only got your message now.
